C. Smokey's Story
Hi Folks,
This photo was taken during my 60th birthday celebration. I gathered a posse of gals pals and we went west to Cowgirl Camp for a week at the Hideout Ranch in Shell, Wyoming! We rode great horses and learned to rope; herded the yearling cows up to the magnificent high country and relaxed by the fire with my good friends in the evenings. Real ranch life; one of my childhood dreams comes true, think I'll do it again before too long....Expand for more
I have always loved animals especially dogs and horses. I learned to ride when I was in my late 20's; I was living on a farm up state NY (doing renovations, I've been a Residential General Contractor for 30+ years; that's a whole other story). The years on the farm I had the opportunity to learn about riding and horses from a neighbor who was an expert riding teacher; and I can still stay in the saddle.
